Fuzzy logic is a method of translating verbal, vague, inaccurate and qualitative expressions, common in human communication, into a sequence and form understandable by computers. These systems are powerful tools that allow the expression of concepts that are not well defined, where a name or adjective is usually used to describe them. The work aims to improve the mathematical models for renewable energy sources through fuzzy application. Thus, modeling of a fuzzy controller was performed , operating in the hybrid renewable energy generation system, in order to develop and obtain a greater efficiency of the solar-wind hybrid system. The work used data from weather stations for the development of system simulations. For the development of the controller, the Matlab® software was used in the Fuzzy Logic ToolBoxTM module, where all the fuzzy theory was elaborated and applied in simulations with the controller in order to improve the efficiency of the system’s battery bank.
