Adenomatosis in a goat with metastases to the kidneys. A case report

Abstract

A case of pulmonary adenomatosis in a goat imported from England is studied. Metastases to the kidney were observed. Histologically the tumor consisted of columnar cells which lined the alveoli. There were also eosinophilic cytoplasmic inclusions, surrounded by a clear halo, reminding of certain cytoplasmic inclusion bodies which occur in virus disease.
