The objective of this work is to analyze the contributions of the association of rural producers of the village of Ouricuri (Aproa) in accessing the National School Feeding Program (PNAE) in municipality of Pindobaçu, state of Bahia, Brazil. Regarding the methodology, this research is a case study with bibliographical and documentary research, and semi-structured interviews, analyzed by using descriptive statistics and content analysis. The conclusion of this work is that this rural association can be a mechanism for strengthening family farming and promoting regional development.
