Abstract

This article aims at analyzing how the media covers the process of agroecological transition, performed in the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) - particularly the news sites - by using hemerographic sources. By analyzing more than 300 news, it was found that: 46% of the total announce events, 24% of the news address projects, and the rest of them address courses and management aspects. Furthermore, this analysis shows that, except for few news rated as "highly relevant" (2% of total), the rest of them "lack depth", which may be rated as "inadequate coverage".
